CIOP online sessions are conducted in a well-organized manner. The online sessions are conducted on Saturdays, between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Indian Standard Time). There will be two breaks during the session. First break at 8:00 PM for 15 minutes and the second break at 9:00 PM for 10 minutes. The participants will join the program through the link sent to them well in advance and they get reminder notifications. First reminder a day before the session and the second reminder one-hour before the session. The participants will be able to see the presentation and the writings of the faculty at the same time. The faculty delivers the program through a smart board and the participants will be able to access both the presentation used by the faculty and his notes at the ends of the session through Fhyzics’ Learning Management System (LMS).

Warehouse activities fall into four main sections: General warehousing/stock-handling, sales and inventory, production and transport, and business process management (BPM).

General warehousing/stock-handling involves the movement of product from Point A to Point B. It usually involves trucking, pallet loading and offloading, and the handling of received goods until they are ready for transport. This is the least well known of the warehouse activities, but is critical to overall business performance.

The activity of getting goods to their point of sale is known as stock-handling. This involves storing goods for future sale while they are still in the process of being sold. The main objectives of stock-handling are to (1} maximize cash flow, (2) reduce inventory, and (3) keep inventory levels consistent with overall demand. Sales and inventory are related to each other because the sale of goods supports both activities. When sales and inventory are managed effectively, companies can improve both activities and see increased profits.

The activity of sourcing is the process by which a firm identifies a suitable supplier of goods that meet its needs. In the supply chain, suppliers compete for customers by offering lower prices, better quality, and other unique offers. To be successful, firms must make sure that they find a reliable, qualified, and credible supplier of goods. A firm can also improve its sourcing efficiency by finding a third-party who can provide the best possible price and quality, thus making it easier to get the products at the lowest possible prices.
