Acceptance sampling utilizes statistical data sampling to decide whether to accept or rejected a certain production lot of product. It's been an oft-used quality control method found in many industrial companies. It's usually employed when goods pass through the manufacturing line, or at least within the production area. This is to minimize on rejected items that would result to lost sales, damaged reputation, and damaged inventory.

The whole world war ii. The world war ii, when it came to production method, was centered on the world war ii, which was known to bring on the downfall of large scale manufacturing companies all over the world. As a matter of fact, the worldwide financial crisis happened because of the world war ii, which greatly affected all of the business establishments. This included the large-scale manufacturing firms. At the time, they were so caught up with the demands of the war that they didn't bother to focus on the quality and standards of their products, as they were geared towards meeting the demands of the military.

Acceptance Sampling, on the other hand, helps in reducing the losses and risks for a company because of its statistical methods of determining the acceptance or rejection of a batch of product. Batch sampling is a quality control method that enables companies to improve their operations without having to invest a great deal on their own capital. With Acceptance Sampling, a company will only have to send out a single sample, which the entire batch will then be tested from the batch of samples that were received. This saves a lot of money, time, and effort on the part of a company, making it more efficient. Another thing about Acceptance Sampling is that, when a company performs its own Acceptance Sampling, they are able to track their entire production process. Aside from reducing the risks associated with accepting and making quality determinations, a company will also be able to know if there are any problems in their processes that could affect their entire production.
