Guided by the sacred Saiva principle that feeding a hungry soul is worship of Lord Siva Himself, Sivanmanai humbly commenced its Nithiya Annadhanam service on Sunday, 20 September 2020, at a very modest level. What began as a small offering at the Lord’s feet has, through His boundless grace and the support of devoted Sivabhaktas, grown steadily over the years.
On Friday, 17 October 2025, Sivanmanai joyfully marked the completion of five blessed years of uninterrupted daily Annadhanam. Today, this sacred service nourishes approximately 80–100 devotees every single day, without break, throughout the year.
The Annadhanam is offered daily between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM at 34, Sigamani Nagar 3rd Street, Madipakkam, Chennai – 600091. Devotees are welcome to participate in this divine seva by offering contributions in the form of rice, dal, cooking oil, and other essential groceries, thereby sharing in the spiritual merit of Annadhanam.
